Join us for an interactive, 1-hour session designed to help HR leaders reconnect with the human side of Human Resources. Together, we’ll explore how to build stronger relationships with employees, managers, and executives, showing up as trusted partners at every level.
In this session, you’ll learn how to: -Identify the trust gaps that impact HR’s credibility. -Strengthen relationships through empathy and clarity. -Communicate with influence using the “Ask, Acknowledge, Align” framework. -Reframe HR’s role from reactive to relational.
Speaker Bio:
Erica Gordon-Roberts specializes in creating people strategies that enhance the employee experience and drive organizational success. She currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Look Listen, a digital marketing agency dedicated to improving the human experience through partnerships with health, happiness, and wealth brands. She is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of Tai Solutions Group where she steers organizations toward unparalleled growth through strategic people-centric solutions.
As a Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) board member and the Professional Development Director for SHRM Georgia, Erica is committed to equip leaders at every stage of their education or career with exposure, access, and opportunities to explore their potential, expand their impact, and excel in the future of work.
We are pleased to announce registration for the 2026 SHRM Georgia Volunteer Leadership Meeting is now open! In coming together at our annual SHRM Georgia Volunteer Leadership Meeting, we will:
· Learn the newest initiatives and priorities from SHRM;
· Discover chapter operations best practices;
· Connect with CLA (Core Leadership Area) Leaders
· Build relationships with other chapter leaders around the state;
· Connect to resources so you will feel equipped in your new role;
· Seek guidance from SHRM, the State Council, and your peers; and
· Become energized for our year of service to the HR profession!
Chapters are welcomed and encouraged to register as many of your Board members as you would like. This is important for connections, education on chapter best practices and leadership succession planning.
Please note this meeting is the Q1 Quarterly Meeting of the SHRM Georgia State Council for 2026. Each chapter needs to be represented by the Chapter President or Chapter Management Professional (CMP). It is also important that all SHRM Georgia State Council members attend. We are pleased to be able to facilitate your attendance with FREE registration for these roles. (In the event the Chapter President or CMP is unable to attend, please determine a designee to attend to represent the chapter.)
