On Saturday, April 5th, we proudly hosted the 2nd Annual SHRM Georgia State Council Student Case Competition at the Terry College of Business on the University of Georgia campus. Fifteen students, forming three teams from across the state, came together to showcase their expertise in human resources, case analysis, and strategic problem-solving. Congratulations to University of Georgia Team 1—Josh Zehe, Reymi Reyes, Sally Bae, Sammy David, and Tess Thomas—who claimed the top prize! Their victory earned them first-place medals, complimentary registration to the 2025 SHRM Georgia State Council Annual Conference & Expo, and of course, a full year of bragging rights. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the students who competed, to Lynn Guhde and the University of Georgia for graciously hosting the event for the second consecutive year, and to the SHRM Georgia State Council leadership for their continued support. We’re already looking forward to next year’s competition! |
